It is time for women to re-think the way they exercise. If we exercise in a masculine way as women, we will not only end up looking harder, but also become more masculine in our energy which can cause more problems. Some female celebrities have gone down this route already. Exercising in a masculine way can have negative effects on our health, happiness and especially our intimate relationships. Most of us make no distinction between male or female ways to exercise, but not all exercises are suitable for women in the long term. This is a little known truth. We are told to go to the gym, lift weights, go on the treadmill etc., but few of us understand that although this might be beneficial for men, it can be bad news for women despite looking more toned.

Masculine exercises often have a competitive edge and produce the stress hormone adrenaline. During exercise men typically strive to improve endurance, speed, strength muscle tone etc. However, healthy feminine energy and radiance is closely linked to feeling physical pleasure and the joy of being in a female body whilst exercising. The focus is not on improving our bodies but enjoying our bodies to the fullest. Rather than a powerful aggressive workout we want to be open and receptive to the inherent gifts and sensations of our bodies.

The easiest way to determine if an exercise is supporting our own unique expression of healthy feminine energy is to listen to our bodies and become aware of how much we are actually enjoying it. You can ask yourself: How does it feel in my body? Am I happier and more energetic than before? Healthy exercises for women will encourage the flow of endorphines – our pleasure giving hormones- and promote a more sensual physical energy and feeling of wellbeing.

Most of us have experienced signing up for a class and dropping out half-way through. No need to feel guilty – it just wasn’t enjoyable enough for us. Our body’s wisdom never lies. A class that’s right for you will naturally make you come back for more. If there is nothing for you at the gym you can always be a little creative and move freely to your favorite tune at home, swim, learn to roller-skate again with your kids, get your bicycle out or simply enjoy walking the dog in the park. The night before she met her future husband, a young woman was directed to an astrology website by a random e-mail. We attract people as mirrors to help us remember self-love and acceptance but also to bring unresolved issues and fears in us to the surface. For example: As a highly sensitive child I experienced my fathers verbal anger outbursts as a physical threat and still had been afraid of "making people angry with me" until only recently. When I noticed that I had become somewhat afraid of the husband of a close friend I realised that he matched the energy that my father carried when I was a child. They even share the same name. I then saw that his wife also had a very similar energy to my mother.

I found this quite funny. Although my parents live in a different country and I we share a loving friendship,  I had managed to "manifest my parents" and recreate my childhood fears right at my doorstep to help me address an issue that was still holding me back in my life. Looking out for the mirrors around us will grow our understanding of ourself and foster increasing acceptance. We can then choose to consciously feel and release any fears and replace it with new empowering beliefs.

When it comes to love - I am a hopeless romantic. However, I believe that the ultimate purpose of any relationship is solely to help us grow and evolve as human being on all levels: mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

There is only one root cause for any kind of lack in our lives. A sense of unworthiness or lack of self-esteem. When we don’t value ourself we attract people and situations which confirm to us that we are unworthy of love. This then can turn into a cycle of Focussing on our fears. When we are single, or after a relationship breakup or any disappointment, we often focus on avoiding the same or similar pain again. Whilst it is good to know what we don’t want, solely focusing on avoiding it will actually draw the manifestation of our fears to us. Where attention goes, energy flows. So we want to put our conscious focus on What We Want. But if we don’t feel worthy we sometimes don’t even allow ourself to find out or ask for what we truly desire. Being very clear and totally honest to ourself about our deepest desires in a relationship or any other area of our life is absolutely crucial.

If there was one thing that we as men and women could do on a daily basis to bring us closer to the experience of Divine Love, What might it be?

To attract Divine Love or create it in an existing relationship, we want to truly experience ourself as an expression of it. Whilst it can seem hard to TRY to love ourself, the great news is that we don’t have to. All we need to do is to remember that we already DO! Deep down inside. We were born with love for ourself. And the evidence is in every good thing in our life. Every good thing that happens – no matter how small, is proof that we already love ourself. Each time we recognize this, feeling the warm flow of love within, we open our blocks to self-love a little further. Each time we raise our vibration. And as like attracts like, love will attract love.

I believe it was Einstein who said that one of the most important decisions we will all have to make in our lives, is whether we live in a friendly or a hostile universe. He understood that what we focus on will be our reality. It took me over 30 years to realize that I live in a friendly universe, that we already are the very love we desire, and therefore can never be undeserving of it. I have never looked back since.

He was not allowed to enter the bathroom when she was in the shower, her entire wardrobe consisted of black clothes hiding her beautiful curves and she was seriously considering undergoing breast-reduction surgery. It was later revealed that her breast size, when compared to other fuller breasted women, was at the smaller end of the scale, and there were many women with considerably larger breasts who were happy with their breasts.

When a number of women were asked in a survey if they kept the lights on or off in the bedroom, a shockingly high percentage (around 80%) of women preferred not to be seen naked by their men. They felt unattractive and were afraid of not matching up in their lovers eyes.

The truth is that most masculine men prefer women to be softer and feminine. My husband loves my feminine tummy and would hate a washboard stomach. Men are attracted to feminine energy and radiance in women, which is not depedent on body size or shape but how comfortable a woman feels in her body and how open she is to life and love.

Most men with a healthy masculine energy wish to be with a feminine women and are likely to deeply appreciate all the parts that most of us feel so critical about. For a long time I felt my thighs were too large, and it took over a year of my husband repeatedly admiring my legs for me to finally realize that he actually meant it. So many of us have so convinced ourself that we are flawed, that even if our men are appreciating us openly, if we let them SEE us in the first place,  we feel they are just being polite and do not really mean it.

In the case of the woman in the story, many men were shown a photo of her in her underwear and asked to comment on her body. Most of the men complemented her lovely breasts and attractive feminine shape.

A womans relationship to her body equals her relationship to her feminine essence. To be healthy as a woman it is absolutely vital to have a healthy and more loving relationship with our bodies. Yet so many of us are rejecting our bodies and the feminine to various degrees. The reasons for this are manifold and can range from childhood parental criticism, social conditioning and false media ideals, negative comments from an insecure or controlling ex-partner to sexual abuse.

By becoming aware that we have been telling ourselves many lies about our feminine attractiveness for far too long, and realising that we are all beautiful in our many bodily expressions of the divine feminine, we can learn to see our bodies with new eyes, can gradually shed fears and pain and learn to open our hearts and bodies to ourself and our lovers.
