Whether we are presently with our twin soul in the physical world or not, we are always connected on the soul level. Because of the soul connection we share, the feelings we experience when we first meet our twin soul in person might be very different from an instant physical attraction or infatuation we might have felt with other romantic partners before. We might simply feel very comfortable or at ease with the other person. Our twin soul is likely to feel very familiar to us even though we just met. In some cases of twin souls they will even consciously remember shared past life experiences or will have dreamt about eachother before meeting.

When I met Joseph I immediately felt very comfortable and free to be myself with him, but I did not recognize him as a romantic partner straight away. I was at my most independent at this stage in my life and did not want to rush into a new relationship. It therefore took me a little longer to realize that I had fallen in love with him. He knew it early on but simply allowed me to find out for myself.

So what are the other signs to recognising our twin along the way?
Often meeting our twin will coincide with synchronicities or coincidences which can alert us to look beyond our current knowledge and experience of love and relationships with a person. They are signposts to help us recognise eachother and open to a higher love together. It might start with small and seemingly insignificant coincidences which will raise our awareness about further signs.

When we are truly open to the magic of coincidences, we will begin to see many more signs. Some will be of such a specific, intimate or significant nature that we will know with certaintly that we were destined to be together. We do not need to know anything about the twinsoul principle to recognise our twin but can simply feel on an energetic and heart level that we are One and were brought together by divine intention. During the course of a twin soul relationship this is also increasingly felt on a physical level where the couple elevates basic sexual polarity to Sacred Sex.

Because my relationship with my husband has been riddled with synchronicities and coincidences from the start, both of us felt there was a magic element to it early on. But it was not until a few years later that we received our most magic sign. At the time I had been studying Energy Medicine for a while and shortly after meeting Joseph I had connected strongly with an Orange Lily during an exercise at college. Since then Orange Lilies have been my favorite flowers and have special meaning to me. I even began to dress mostly in orange and friends referred to me as Orangelily.

With Joseph people have always been attracted to his beautiful, elegant hands in the strangest ways. After I had written Kinetikus I knew that on the cover of the book had to be a painting of Joseph’s hand. Later, after the book was completed, I was once on my way to a new school for my daughter. By chance I drove past the pub where Joseph and I had met years before and never been since. I had no idea what the pub was called. When I noticed the sign above the door I got goosebumps all over.

The name of the pub was: The Hand and Flower   

We later held our wedding reception there. 

Let's allow ourself to be open to the magic of universal signs. Our open heart and desire to meet our twin, together with the universal law of attraction will bring us together and we will recognise eachother at the right time.
