What are we really afraid of?
There are only 3 very basic fears or illusions that we have subscribed to as human beings which stop us from experiencing true freedom on all levels:
The illusion that we are not safe
The illusion that we are not loved
The illusion that we are not in control
Nothing could be further from the truth:
We are always safe and beings of eternal life.
We have total control over creating every aspect of our life.
And not only are we loved beyond our current levels of awarness
but we ourselves are love made manifest in physical form.
How can we then move from our fears to the experience of these truths?
- Let’s make a conscious decision to allow our fears to surface from the depth of our subconscious mind. As soon as we decide this, fears already begin to loosen their hold on us.
- Let’s allow ourself to fully feel any fear and whatever emotion that arises in connection with the fear without censoring or suppression. Acceptance is the key. This can take a little getting used too but is simple in essence and releases the fear energy even further.
- Let’s ask ourself the question: What is the deepest truth behind my fear? (For example: I am never alone, I am love and loved, The universe is always supporting me etc.)Write it down and let it suffuse your consciousness.
- When a similar or new fear arises, let’s be loving towards ourself and accept that this process will go on continuously in our life. That it is in fact one of the vehicles of our growth and thus making us a happier and more fulfilled person.(see: What does really matter in our life?) Ultimately we will learn to love and appreciate fears and emotions as part of our process of growing and becoming free. The more fears we allow to surface, accept and release, the more joy and balance we will feel.
With love and highest regards,
Susanne
