How can I become more radiant as a woman?

I love to share my favorite tips to increase our inner and outer radiance with you:
  1. Let’s drink plenty of clean, filtered water every day
Dr. Robert Young, author of the Ph-miracle, recommends as much as 3-4 litres or more a day. Our body consists of 70% water and needs water for all vital functions, but especially for cleansing and eliminating toxins. This is important for healthy glowing skin. In addition to drinking more, we also want to focus on eating foods high in water content like lettuce, cucumbers etc. too.
  2. Let’s get plenty of rest and sleep
During sleep our body rejuvenates, restores and heals itself. If you had a late night, fit in a 15 – 30 min cat nap the following day. I often allow myself to dose for a short time in my lunch break. When I worked in the corporate world I would sneak to a quiet spot in the building, set my alarm and nap occasionally for 10 minutes.
  3. Let’s follow our passion
If it’s all work and no play we quickly loose our zest for life and it shows. The best way is to turn your interests and passions into your profession. If that is not currently possible, balance it with making time for pursuing your deepest interests in your free time. Take classes, read books, volunteer to help in an area you love. But do or imagine doing something you love daily even if it’s only for a short period of time.
  4. Let’s make love more often
Focus on fulfilling intimacy as a major building block for your physical and emotional health and radiance. Every fully experienced orgasm and loving exchange with a partner energises us as women. We literally begin to glow. If you do not have a partner do not be too shy to indulge in self-pleasuring and showering yourself with affection. It is good for you! J
  5. Let’s exercise our own way (see: Is your exercise turning you into a man?)
Find an exercise that you truly enjoy and that does not bore you or feels like a repetitive chore. Bellydancing is a fun way to nurture feminine energy and increase health and vitality for example. Choose free flowing exercises as opposed to rigid disciplines.
  6. Let’s be grateful
Gratitude is the mother of all virtues and the best way to raise our vibration. It is simply impossible to be miserable when we focus on a reason for being grateful and allow ourself to truly feel it. Let’s practice an attitude of gratitude by focussing on what we are grateful for first thing in the morning for a couple of minutes and express our gratitude to others more often. “Thank you” is the most powerful expression in our world.
  7. Let’s eat healthily
We want to make a habit of nutritionally respecting our bodies without depriving ourself. It is an ongoing process, so let’s be patient with ourself. We all know that eating more raw greens and vegetables and reducing highly acidic foods like meats, white flour and sugar is good for us. We are worth it!
  8. Let’s eliminate Toxins
Alcohol, nicotine and caffeine are the better known toxic and addictive substances, sugar is more addictive than cocaine, and we do ourself a great favour by cutting down on all of these dramatically. Other toxins that we are increasingly becoming aware of are food additives, preservatives, colourings and artificial sweeteners like aspartame. By preparing your meals predominantly from fresh organic produce you are well on the way to health.
  9. Let’s exfoliate
Enjoy a good scrub. I gently exfoliate my face with a wet face cloth every day. There are of course a number of products you can use too. Brushing and exfoliating our whole body ones in a while is great for our circulation and a healthy, smooth and glowing complexion. It makes us feel glowing and special. You can do it yourself or go for spa treatment.
  10. Let’s use natural skincare
In the same way we want to avoid toxins in our food we want to look out for them in our skin care. Scientists have established direct links to breast cancer in women who were using deodorants containing toxins. The safest bet is to go shopping for your skincare and all personal hygiene products in your local healthfood store. There you will find organic, toxin free, natural plant based procucts. Use fluoride free toothpaste (fluoride is an accumulative toxin and can damage teeth enamel) and avoid liquid soaps and shampoos containing sodium lauryl sulphate. We are absolutely worth it.

I thank you and applaude you for taking your radiance in your own hands!

With love and highest regards,

Susanne
